Every single set was beyond my expectations. The energy of these performances cannot be touched by any other concert I've been too. Some of my weekend favorites include: Skrillex, Afrojack, Kings of Leon, Interpol, Marina and the Diamonds, Laidback Luke, Mumford & Sons, Steve Angello, The Foals, Ellie Goulding, The National, The Strokes, Wiz Kalifa, and Kanye West. Each artist or group went above their demand and delivered a show incomparable to any of their past. They were each so personal in their performances and managed to give every massive crowd a sense of sincere intimacy.

I've never seen more gracious artists or a more enthusiastic fan demographic. Most likely one of the only places in the world with so many content and passionate people. Festival virgins and veterans alike, celebrating the creative process of music no matter the genre or artist. I didn't meet a single person this weekend that wasn't sincerely grateful to be a part of our generation. New sounds create new revelations in each of us. Music undoubtedly follows the world's ever-changing technology and interests, but the music itself will never cease to speak to people past and present. Nothing makes a community more cohesive than a beat that pulsates through each body simultaneously. Everyone loves music, everyone loves Coachella.

Coachella 2011, you swept me away and the next countdown has already begun at 363 days.
